Eight weeks. 600 participants around the world. One shared goal: prioritising well-beingย ๐ช
Across Flight Centre Travel Group, colleagues took part in the Healthwise Global 8 Week Challenge, finding ways to stay active and invest in their health, from early gym sessions and at-home workouts to hiking, sports, and healthier habits in everyday life. Itโs a strong reflection of our culture at FCTG, where taking care of ourselves and supporting one another is part of how we show up every day.

Participants had access to nutrition plans, workouts, wellness tips, check-ins, and a global community cheering them on!
๐ฌ โWe started the 8 Week Challenge in 2001 and have run it every single year. Itโs become our most engaged and results-driven challenge, evolving from mailed-in photos to a secure digital experience where participants can track their progress and share life-changing stories.โ - Tod Horton, HealthwiseGlobal Business Leader
๐ฌ โThe healthy habits I built during this challenge will now become my lifestyle. I didnโt just lose kilos, I lost excuses. If thereโs one thing this challenge has taught me, itโs never too late to fight for your health and being present for your family, living longer, and becoming the example your children deserve. Today is the end of my 8 Week Challenge, and the beginning of the life Iโve chosen to fight and live for. Thank you Healthwise!โ - Tasman Maafi - Global Winner - 8 Week Warrior category (enjoy Global Ball in Bangkok, Tasman)!
๐ฌ โCompared to what it was before the 8 Week Challenge and now it feels like I have swapped minds with someone that is positive happy and all round just doing better. I think overcoming the mental challenges of not wanting to continue because it was hard or not fun or any of the multiple reasons why I wanted to quit made a massive difference. This 8-week challenge has been amazing, and I am dedicated to continuing my journey to being a full human being living my full life with my family. Thank you for this I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.โ - Heinoux Jakobus Roux - Global Winner - Most Inspirational Story category!
A huge congratulations going out to Lydia Bowen, CA, for winning the Best Physical Change category! After all her hard work, sheโs off to Cambodia with Intrepid Travel.
