Global Gathering 2026 in Bangkok, My My My

From 10-12 July, more than 2,000 Flighties and valued trade partners came together in Bangkok, Thailand, for our annual Global Gathering. Themed ‘Rise’, we celebrated the achievements of our top-performing Flighties at our annual global conference and incentive event. Bravo to FCM Meetings & Events for organising👏

The festivities kicked off Friday night at the 𝑭𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕 event, held at 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭, a wonderland on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Major partners Europ Assistance (now known as 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐧 in Australia and New Zealand), Qantas Group, and Sabre, were joined by our stellar industry sponsors. Entertained by two DJs Flighties participated in supplier activations including Viking's Dance Machine, Air New Zealand's silent disco🎧and Singapore Airlines Slingshot game. Not to forget our own fireworks!

The following day was the 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 2026 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 component at the UOB LIVE Bangkok venue, followed by the Global Awards Dinner hosted by 'spice up your life' Clinton Hearne and Megan Henderson, and After-Party at IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center.

We heard from Brand Leaders Melissa Elf (FCM Travel), Danielle Galloway (Luxury & Independent Brands including The Luxury Travel Collection & Envoyage Group), Tom Walley (Corporate Traveller Australia), Andrew Stark (Flight Centre), and Joell Ogilvie (Emerging brands including Ignite Travel Group) in a panel facilitated by Kylie Conboy (Flight Centre Global People Partner). We heard from CEO Graham Turner 'Skroo' and other global brand leaders.

The conference featured keynote speaker Mark Wexler (Co-Founder and CEO of Not For Sale), alongside supplier updates delivered uniquely Tuk Tuk style, and traditional dance performance.Then the big announcement - the destination for Global Gathering 2027. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔, 𝑺𝒚𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒚! 🌉 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜.

From Top BDM, Most Profitable Nation, Directors Awards, to the inaugural Dazzler award. We cheered for our people, teams, and nations with pride.

After the Gala Awards dinner, the night continued with DJ sets from Australia’s 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬 and legendary US house DJ 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧. The brave carried on, watching FIFA World Cup England vs Norway.⚽

🫶 All attendees brought a book for the 2026 Goals for Good partner, the Sao Hai Community in Saraburi Province. FCTG’s Asia wholesale business Discova has a long-term association with the community, including building a dedicated Community Empowerment Hub where local students and villagers can develop hospitality and life skills towards further education and employment opportunities.
