A new industry benchmark for travel management companies
FCM Travel and Corporate Traveller, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, have been awarded Travel Management Company (TMC) Accreditation by The Business Travel Association (The BTA), making them among the first travel management companies to achieve the new industry benchmark. 🏆
Launched by The BTA in June 2026, the accreditation has been introduced to recognise travel management companies that demonstrate excellence across key areas of their business, including governance, data protection, financial protection, professional competence and client service.
For FCM Travel and Corporate Traveller, achieving the accreditation is an important recognition of the standards their teams work to every day — and of the trust placed in them by businesses and travellers around the world.
What does TMC Accreditation mean?
Choosing a travel management company is about more than finding the right flights, hotels or travel technology. Businesses need confidence that their travel partner has the right processes, expertise and safeguards in place to support their people and their programmes.
The BTA's new accreditation provides an independent benchmark for these standards, helping businesses identify travel management companies that have demonstrated their commitment to operating professionally, responsibly and with their clients at the heart of what they do.
