About The Opportunity
Join FCM Meetings & Events, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, and help bring exceptional event experiences to life through seamless travel coordination. As an Event Travel Consultant, you'll support attendees, clients, and event teams by managing travel arrangements, ensuring policy compliance, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail, problem-solving, and relationship building are valued. You'll play an important role in ensuring attendees arrive where they need to be while contributing to memorable events around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate flight, accommodation, and ground transportation bookings for event attendees.
- Ensure all travel arrangements are ticketed accurately and comply with event travel policies and restrictions.
- Monitor attendee booking status and ensure all travelers are confirmed prior to event deadlines.
- Liaise with attendees, meeting planners, and internal stakeholders regarding policy exceptions, special requests, and travel deviations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within meeting management systems and internal records.
- Respond professionally to client and delegate inquiries within agreed service levels.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing traveler needs.
- Assist with event-related and operational administrative tasks.
- Create, manage, analyze, and validate travel reports and manifests for accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with event leads, planners, and cross-functional teams to achieve successful event outcomes.
- Proactively identify potential issues and take ownership of solutions.
- Participate in learning, development, and training opportunities to support professional growth.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned

Experience & Qualifications
- Experience working with a Global Distribution System (GDS) - Sabre experience required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in travel management, event travel, or corporate travel required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience creating, managing, and validating reports and data.

Proven ability to take ownership, work collaboratively, and proactively resolve issues.

Preferred experience using Cvent for event coordination, rooming management, attendee tracking, or registration management.

Preferred experience with Power BI, experience developing reports, dashboards, and workflow insights.

Knowledge of travel fares, booking systems, and travel industry products.

Experience supporting meetings, events, or group travel programs.

- Self-motivated, resourceful, and resilient, with a track record of delivering results under pressure.
- Reliable, high-speed internet connectivity required to support core job responsibilities, including but not limited to video conferencing, access to company systems, and secure handling of company data.

*Vacation, Personal, and Sick time accrual rates will vary based on full-time or part-time employee status. Recognized Holidays are either paid time off or, if required to work due to job requirements, holiday pay rate, and may vary depending on state.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly pay rate of $28.85 plus commission/incentive earnings based on achievable targets.
