Join Flight Centre Travel Group as a Senior Commercial Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping investment decisions across the Global Business Service (GBS) PMO.

You’ll lead the development of investment-grade business cases that influence funding, prioritisation, and strategic outcomes. Combining business analysis expertise with strong commercial and financial capability, you will partner with sponsors, Finance, and senior stakeholders to create decision-ready recommendations.

Day in the life:

• Lead end-to-end business case development from problem definition through to investment-ready submissions

• Build and own financial models, including cost estimates, benefit profiles, cash flow forecasts, NPV, IRR, payback, and sensitivity analysis

• Generate, evaluate, and compare options, including baseline and alternative investment scenarios

• Partner with sponsors, business leaders, and Finance teams to align on assumptions, benefit treatment, funding sources, and affordability

• Facilitate benefit definition, establish baselines, and ensure benefit ownership and measurement methods are agreed

• Identify and assess risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, ensuring mitigation plans and accountability are documented

• Produce executive-level business case documentation that clearly communicates recommendations and investment value

• Prepare sponsors for governance forums, steering committees, and executive reviews, providing expert support on methodology and financial assumptions

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather data, drive decisions, and secure alignment across functions and brands

• Manage multiple business cases simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting turnaround expectations

• Continuously enhance the business case framework, templates, financial models, and governance processes while coaching stakeholders

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• 8+ year's experience in business analysis, commercial analysis, or finance business partnering with recent hands-on business case development experience

• A proven track record of developing investment-grade business cases that have secured executive or board-level funding

• Advanced Excel financial modelling skills, including discounted cash flow, NPV, IRR, payback, scenario, and sensitivity analysis

• Strong understanding of capital and operating expenditure, capitalisation, depreciation, and investment funding principles

• Experience applying structured business case methodologies such as the Five Case Model or equivalent approaches

• Experience working within structured PMO or investment governance environments

• A degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or another numerate discipline

• CA, CPA, CIMA, CBAP, CCBA, BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, or Better Business Cases training
