ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a data-driven team where your insights will directly influence marketing performance and strategic decision making. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will transform complex datasets into meaningful insights, dashboards, and reporting solutions that empower stakeholders across the business. Working closely with marketing, digital, martech, customer insights, and business intelligence teams, you will play a key role in driving innovation and advancing data strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to combine analytical expertise, technical capability, and business acumen to deliver impactful outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities
- Analyse performance trends and recommend improvement opportunities
- Work with internal teams to identify, estimate, prioritise, and resolve issues
- Collect, transform, and structure large volumes of data into usable formats
- Design and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs
- Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver required business data outputs
- Support customer and stakeholder queries relating to data integrity and validation
- Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to support business decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical models
- Support implementation of the divisional data strategy in partnership with the Reporting and Data Lead
- Identify new data sources, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data-driven decision making
- Generate ad hoc reports, regular datasets, and reporting solutions using database and data warehouse queries and scripts
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with data visualisation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3-5 years' experience working across data and analytics projects
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of database management systems
- Experience creating dashboards, KPI scorecards, and business reporting solutions
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex datasets and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and model development
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, data modelling, and data mining techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
