What You’ll Be Responsible For Lead the Strategy
- Own and drive the national B2B marketing strategy for CruiseHQ, with full accountability for brand positioning, campaign planning and go‑to‑market execution
- Act as a key member of the CruiseHQ leadership team, contributing to broader commercial planning and business strategy
- Define marketing KPIs, establish robust reporting frameworks and use insights to optimise activity and investment
- Build and scale the CruiseHQ marketing function, including future team growth and agency management
- Partner closely with National Business Development Managers to deliver trade‑focused campaigns that generate leads and convert advisors
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to align marketing activity with product priorities, supplier initiatives and commercial opportunities
- Oversee and execute the full marketing mix including campaigns, EDMs, digital, social, content, trade communications, events and PR
- Manage the marketing budget with strong commercial discipline to deliver measurable ROI
- Establish CruiseHQ as the leading cruise wholesaler in the Australian travel trade
- Lead all trade PR, media partnerships and industry thought leadership
- Represent CruiseHQ at industry events, roadshows and advisor engagement initiatives
- Build strong partnerships with cruise lines, trade media and industry bodies
- Drive adoption of AI tools and marketing technology to improve personalisation, efficiency and insights
- Stay ahead of trends in B2B and trade marketing, bringing fresh ideas to engage the advisor community
- Continuously evolve CruiseHQ’s approach to ensure we remain innovative and competitive
- 7+ years’ marketing experience with 3–5 years in a senior or leadership role
- Experience in travel, cruise, B2B wholesale or trade marketing highly regarded
- Proven ability to build and execute national marketing strategies that drive commercial outcomes
- Deep understanding of the Australian travel trade market with an established industry network
- Hands‑on capability across brand, digital, campaigns, EDMs, social, content, events and PR
- Strong experience with B2B marketing technology, CRM platforms and reporting
- Demonstrated budget management with accountability for ROI
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
