Purpose

As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving business performance through data led insights and commercial thinking. You’ll focus on identifying and executing value-add initiatives that maximise revenue opportunities, improve returns on investment, and minimise costs helping the business make smarter, more informed decisions.

 

 

Day to day you’ll be…

  • Supporting commercial decision-making to improve profitability and return on capital

  • Building and refining financial models and business case scenarios

  • Analysing financial and non-financial KPIs to track performance and identify opportunities

  • Delivering monthly reporting with clear, actionable insights for stakeholders

  • Monitoring cashflow, risks, and key performance drivers across the business

  • Developing and enhancing reporting frameworks to align with business needs

  • Translating complex data into meaningful insights using analytics and modelling tools

  • Partnering with internal teams to communicate commercial impacts and recommendations

  • Identifying, implementing, and tracking value-add projects and initiatives

  • Reviewing contracts and identifying opportunities to maximise commercial outcomes

 

 

 

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • 3+ years’ experience in an analytical or reporting focused role

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically and solve problems

  • Advanced skills in Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or similar data tools

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and high transaction volumes (preferred)

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts

  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, self-driven mindset

  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • A passion for turning data into insights that drive business outcomes

  • A relevant degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
