Technical Business Analyst, RPA - Brisbane
Job Purpose:
As the Technical Business Analyst - RPA, you will be working within our business to understand requirements, build and document new automated processes using best practice, testing, and supporting the deployment. Robotic automation will be considered the primary tool in this role, but to be successful in this position you will identify other tools which can be used in order to get the best balance of customer service and cost.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and configure RPA software systems to meet business process and application requirements
- Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution
- Complete thorough testing of automation in training/production environments
- Support implementing enhancements and change requests as part of a structured change control process
- Manage own workload ensuring status and priority of tasks is balanced and up-to-date
- Ensure effective communication through change management cycles
- Breaks information into component parts, patterns and relationships
- Ability to work with large amounts of data in varying forms
- Seeks further information and greater understanding of a problem by engaging key stakeholders
- Produces workable solutions to a range of problems
- Present ideas & concepts logically and clearly
- Plans projects and activities well in advance and takes account of changed circumstances
Key Skills Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related degree
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation
- Experience with project/application life cycle methodologies
- Experience with Process Analysis, Design and Implementation, Business/Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and System Testing
- General proficiency within .NET (VB.NET/C#) + MSSQL databases
- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge/Experience with Kofax would be an asset
- General knowledge of Agile software development concepts and processes
- Consultative skills, including the ability to understand and assist in applying customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design, the ability to define design reasoning and understanding potential impacts of design requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to write concise technical docs
