About the Business
Global Procurement Network (GPN) is Flight Centre Travel Group’s (FCTG) global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses including Infinity Group, Liberty Travel USA, GoGo Worldwide Vacations and Flight Centre Asia.
Job Purpose
The Systems Support team is responsible for all aspects of support for business critical systems used by Global Procurement Network and our Selling Partners globally.
As a Systems Support team member you will be responsible for the day-to-day support and issue management of Calypso, Hotelhub and Switchfly and associated systems, and the delivery of system improvements that enhance the value of GPN’s business systems.
Accountabilities
- Assist with recommendations for all system modifications
- Maintain documentation and assist with test cases for system modifications
- Communication with global user base on any system issues, outages and changes
- Act as an intermediary between vendors and system users on day-to-day technical issues for all systems used by GPN
- Support and analysis of system-related issues through to resolution
- Analyse workflow to maintain process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement
- Review and approve system enhancements to ensure they meet the business’ requirements
- Assist with the implementation of system enhancements across the global user base
- Effectively lead the team to achieve team results
- Train, develop and support team members
- Documentation of processes
You will need:
- Minimum two years’ experience in an environment requiring the transfer of complex information, including:
- Capture of information, active listening etc
- Dissemination of information via written communication
- Organising and chairing meetings with business representatives
- Knowledge of the Calypso travel management system
- Exposure to travel systems such that there is an understanding of the complexities of global booking systems
- Previous experience working with system development, release management, system testing and helpdesk support
Contract Term: 12 months
Location: Brisbane Head Office, South Bank
Hours: Full time 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Mon-Fri. After hours (until 9:00 pm) on-call duty on a weekly rotation Mon-Sun.
