What are some of the typical things the sales team does?
First and foremost, it’s being there for your customers, whether being direct customers or through our partners. Providing support, guidance and assistance to ensure their dream itinerary is created and delivered. This would mean:
- Using your own extensive knowledge of Asia and collaborating with different departments to design, create and provide the travel itinerary’s for the customer.
- Ensuring that your promise of 24hour assistance is upheld and your customer feels 100% supported.
- Keeping all records up to date and accurate on our booking systems from quotation to invoice.
- Fast turnaround on any enquiry to exceed our customers’ expectations
With these principles in place the sales team can be expected to maintain and exceed their daily and weekly sales targets.
What does it take to lead the sales team?
The great news is that all our dream making sales executives receive fantastic in house training so you can feel supported at all times, however we know that there is a special kind of person who thrives in our dream making business and some of them include:
Open when our customers are open – Our customers are worldwide so this means having our operation available round the clock. The next leader we are looking for will be someone who feels passionate about leading a cross-cultural team ensuring we live up to our promise to our customers, no matter what time of day.
A Communicator – This role is regional, leading sales teams that are spread across different countries in Asia. We call this remote team leading. This means the communication need is different and varied whether that’s via email, teams, chat, video conferencing or any other ways you can think of to have daily communication with your sales team.
A Perfectionist – You take great pride in making sure that your experience in sales and leadership is in everything you do and have the flexibility to embrace change when it’s needed.
A Juggler – The sales team is spread across different shifts and different countries. We want a leader who is used to juggling and giving each team member the support and coaching they need. Someone who has a strong vision and can execute the company sales strategies.
Leads by Example – the successful person will have a natural ability to model the way in their behaviour, attitude and performance. They will lead a culture of feedback and high performance.
