What are some of the typical things our Sales Executives do?

First and foremost, it’s being there for your customers, whether this being direct or through our partners. Providing support, guidance and assistance to ensure their dream itinerary is created and delivered. This would mean:

  • Using your own extensive knowledge of Asia and collaborating with different departments to design, create and provide the travel itineraries for the customer.
  • Ensuring that your promise of 24hour assistance is upheld and your customer feels 100% supported.
  • Keeping all records up to date and accurate on our booking systems from quotation to invoice.

With these principles in place you can be expected to maintain and exceed your sales daily and weekly sales targets.

What does it take to become a part of the team?

The great news is that all our dream making sales executives receive fantastic in house training so you can feel supported at all times, however, we know that there is a special kind of person who thrives in our business and some of them include:

A Night Owl – We are a 24-hour business and we need someone who feels more alive at night or you hate waking up in the morning our 12 pm – 7 am shift is perfect for you.

A Communicator – Our main form of contact is by the telephone and email, so someone who enjoys talking and listening, can engage in conversations and take interest in each of our customers and who can speak their imagination to help the customers understand the benefits dealing with Discova.

A Perfectionist – Someone who takes great pride in making sure that everything they do is organized and well-executed, but also has the flexibility to embrace change when it’s needed.

A Juggler – Creating dreams is no mean feat and you will have lots of different tasks to juggle to create that perfect dream which sometimes means working outside of office hours.

We have also found that if you have a degree in travel and tourism and/or have worked in inbound sales, your transition to becoming one of our best sales executives for one of the world’s largest travel agencies is much easier.
