We have a great entry-level opportunity to start a career in Finance within a large Finance department of over 60 people. We are recruiting a Retail Accounting Operations Team Member, whose responsibility will be to drive efficiency within the team whilst supporting the front-end growth and increasing team productivity. This will involve actively reviewing current procedures to ensure there is continuous improvement to the processes. You'll be based in our head office in New Malden (Greater London - just 14 minutes from Clapham Junction).

The majority of the day-to-day transactional processing is carried out off shore, whilst the UK based team has full ownership and responsibility for all processes, controls and balance sheet standards. The UK based team is responsible for providing first line support for front end businesses and consultants.

The key responsibilities and duties involved with this role are: 

  • bank reconciliations
  • reconciling credit card receipts
  • paying our retail land suppliers
  • setting up banking and merchant facilities for the retail businesses

The successful candidate will receive experience within the different areas of the finance as the Retail Accounting operations team. This role will also allow the successful candidate to gain experience with working with key finance service providers. You’ll receive experience necessary in achieving a recognised qualification in accounting such as ACCA or CIMA (funding and study-support is provided by Flight Centre). There are also opportunities to take on leadership roles in the future, and further progress your career within the wider finance function.
