Job Purpose:

As the Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for performing a variety of reporting activities to a high standard within the Air Business Insights & Innovation (ABII) team, while developing your analytical and reporting skills.

This position will provide the opportunity to become familiar with Oz Product datasets and exposure to BI technologies as well as various business processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting solutions for the Air Buying team
  • Develop new and innovative reporting solutions to support our business and propel its growth
  • Provide regular analysis including but not limited to incentives tracking, destination and competitor analysis within the OZ Product space
  • Ad-hoc/BAU reporting tasks as well as some projects using our internal systems
  • Specifies and applies appropriate analytical techniques to create information which supports business decision-making
  • Identifies the communications needs of each stakeholder group in conjunction with business owners and subject matter experts
  • Understands and complies with relevant organisational policies and procedures, taking responsibility for assessing and managing risks around the use of information

Key Skills Required:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in IT or Business Economics
  • 2+ years’ experience developing reports in Excel (or similar) from varied datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail, consistency and accuracy
  • Understanding of basic statistical concepts and able to convey to audiences within a large organisation through both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to think creatively and problem solve is
  • Adept at report writing and presenting to audiences at all levels of a large organisation
  • Experience in requirements gathering and interpretation
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management and customer negotiation techniques
  • Ability to analyse existing business process with a view to implementing enhanced efficiencies
  • Knowledge and experience in Transact SQL or similar
  • Knowledge and experience in Power BI and SSRS reporting
  • Business process modelling
