Job Purpose:

The Regional Product Owner, Reporting and Analytics is responsible for the strategic direction and vision of all reporting and analytical functions, including pre-trip, booking, and invoice-level data capture & consolidation regionally through associated tools.

 

The Regional Product Owner, Reporting and Analytics, is also responsible for Regional product management of reporting solutions offered across the Corporate Brands, namely the ClientBank/Good Data reporting system. This work involves the following responsibilities:

 

  • Documentation of core reporting product functionalities in tools (ie Salesforce) for communication during the Account Management and Sales processes
  • Establishment of a key Regional stakeholder group to steer direction of product functionalities in conjunction with market demands
  • Day-to-day management of regional projects within the reporting space, including setting of deliverables, prioritization, dates, and tracking of progress towards completion
  • Resource management of staff within Reporting space, both directly and indirectly, in aligning time spent to deliverables needed
  • Management and development of a short/medium/long term strategic vision for Reporting related products within the business
  • Work in a pre- and post-sales capacity with customers and partners as needed when reviewing Reporting related products & services
  • Understanding market changes within the reporting and analytics space and ensuring functionalities are worked into corporate solutions

 

Lastly, the Regional Product Owner, Reporting and Analytics is responsible for the overall regional operations of Reporting and Anlaytics solutions, both directly and indirectly, and the availability of those systems to internal & external customers. Position is open either in Chicago, IL or Boston, MA.

Vendor Management

10%

  • Work with Global Product Leader to identify key vendors where applicable
  • Establishment of working multi-level relationships with them based on product usage within the Americas Corporate Brands
  • Assist in any contracting exercises with applicable Flight Centre teams on negotiations, legal, and Regional vendor management

 

 

Product Management

50%

  • Identify Corporate Brand supported Reporting and Analytical products by region and document in relevant systems
  • Document features and functionalities of those systems and communicate as needed
  • Work with Global Product Steering committee to steer product direction and functionalities for the Americas
  • Manage on-going projects and activities conducted by Reporting and Analytics (both administrative & development), directly and indirectly
  • Work with Global Product Leader and Clientbank Tech Lead to adequately resource manage all staff working on Regional related projects, directly and indirectly
  • Establish internal collateral with applicable marketing teams on reporting and analytics product usage and branding
  • Establish & maintain a Regional FC selling strategy for reporting tools for bid & account retention purposes based on supported FC tools and features & functionalities by market and brand

 

 

Operational Management

  • Operationally manage the Regional reporting product and liaise with markets on roll-out of tool nationally
  • Enforce system access & security requests & requirements, maintain system usage training documents, work with internally & externally customers on system access
  • Work with Global Product Owner to establish support and case tracking processes for the Reporting and Analytics product to ensure timely entry of issues and tracking of them to closure
  • Provide measures to business and customers regarding support requestion resolution time, system uptime, report generation performance metrics

 

 

Communications

  • Establish & maintain communication processes to distribute relevant product information
  • Establish & maintain libraries & databases of detailed information on products as necessary
