Flight Centre’s Business Ownership Scheme, is a unique opportunity for Flight Centre Travel Group’s Leaders to invest in the businesses in which they work. It provides a sense of ownership of the business with the opportunity to share in its successes. A BOS offers a Leader the opportunity to purchase at a cost a percentage of their business and receive a percentage of the profit of that business in return.

About the Opportunity: 

The Business Ownership Scheme Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that all necessary documentation is obtained from the BOS Holder to set up the BOS and issue Formal Agreements and BOS Certificates. The role is the first point of contact in the BOS team for BOS holders and applicants. There are currently approximately 650 BOS Holders in Australia, with the aim to increase this significantly in the near future. Due to this planned expansion, there is room for growth in this role for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Distribution, follow up and collection of BOS application forms and redemption forms
  • Preparation and distribution of Formal Agreements and BOS Certificates, to fulfil legal and regulatory requirements
  • Set-up of BOS in BRAAD (BOS System)
  • Ensuring all BOS rules and policies are adhered to and actioned as necessary (eg, tracking BOS holders on leave, ensuring BOS maximum limits rule not exceeded, number of BOSs per person not exceeded, etc)
  • Processing of BOS redemptions
  • Assistance with/preparation of Team Leader BOS costings
  • Maintenance of BOS holder files
  • Maintenance of BOS holder details (change of name, postal address, bank details)
  • Distribution of monthly/annual interest statements
  • Timely response to queries; initial response within 24 hours
  • Monthly reporting to General Managers/Area Managers on BOS Holdings
  • Maintenance of the BOS Intranet Site
  • Identify and implement improvements to administration processes to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved
  • Assist BOS Team Leader with ad-hoc projects/new business initiatives/special requests
  • Assistance with presentations and training at General Manager/Area Manager/Team Leader meetings/training forums

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Customer Focused
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels
  • Ability to manage own time and manage multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change and pressured work environment
  • A pro-active approach (thinking outside of the box)
  • Ability to work well in a team
