FCM Travel Solutions is excited to be recruiting a highly sought-after Marketing Manager for the UK within in our Head Office in Chancery Lane. Reporting into the Head of Corporate Marketing Europe and working closely with the brand leader, you will assist to develop and execute a multi-channel regional marketing and brand strategy which enables brand growth and profit plans. This includes the protection of corporate identity, internal and external communication, digital and content initiatives designed to meet core business objectives.

We’re looking for a creative and analytical individual who is prepared to be hands-on. This will suit someone able to collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders and team members at multiple levels within the business.

Main responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager:
    • Design and implement lead nurturing and lead generation campaigns
    • Design and implement campaigns targeting existing clients to drive retention, upsell and cross sell
    • Devise strategies to drive traffic to the website landing pages and ensure strong CTA approach for data capture, including strong SEO and PPC plan
    • Develop content calendar (including case studies) for publication across all platforms engaging with writers and internal experts to source and produce content
    • Devise a comprehensive social media strategy
    • Integrate digital strategy to support offline activity
    • Develop product strategy for digital comms with Air and Land teams
  • Manage internal communication structure to ensure awareness of marketing strategy and results across the brand
  • Develop and deliver the strategy for cievents
  • Work with the air and land teams to drive tactical email campaigns through preferred supplier co-op through digital and social channels
  • Work with CRM team for industry segmentation and database profiling to create targeted campaigns
  • Manage brand presence at exhibitions and events, working with sales teams to ensure lead capture in CRM
  • Manage content for quarterly magazine
  • Work with Director PR to an established PR plan across key local regions
  • Drive brand consistency and develop printed brand collateral
  • Develop an internal comms plan for marketing communications both upstream and across sales teams in conjunction with the internal comms team
  • Work with the sales strategy team to ensure sales material is reflects the brand
  • Perform monthly ROI reporting including offline and online results
  • Create a marketing calendar to provide Brand SWOT and other key stakeholders visibility of planned activity
  • Prepare communications as required to national SWOT teams and across brand and departments ongoing projects

Skills and Experience Desired

  • Marketing degree or equivalent qualification
  • Significant relevant marketing experience within a business travel role ideally
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility across internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in setting multi-channel targets, measuring activity and presenting results
  • An integrated marketing mind-set, passion for creative excellence in storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Experience in managing and leading a high performing team as well as communicating across national boundaries
  • Strong budget and project management skills
  • Experience in working cross functionally with other internal divisions
