Successful Interns at FCTG can expect:
- Meaningful, rotational or project work within your degree discipline
- Working on the assigned 1 or 2 days a week within the agreed Semester time frame
- Receive feedback and support
- Exposure to the wider Flight Centre Travel Group team
- All Internship positions are unpaid
Expectations of successful Interns at FCTG
- Adhere to the FCTG code of conduct
- Successfully complete any FCTG learning/compliance modules
- Be available to work on the agreed set days
- Produce high quality work set by the FCTG team
- Have fun and enjoy the FCTG experience!
Key Dates:
Semester 1: February - May
Applications close: 8 February
Applications Reviewed: Week of 9 Feb
Internship Start: Week of 28 Feb
Internship Finish: Week of 30 May
Semester 2: July - October
Applications close: 12 July
Applications Reviewed: Week of 13 July
Internship Start: Week of 31 July
Internship Finish: Week of 31 October
Requirements
- Must be currently studying at an Australian University
- Must be a 3rd or final year student. We want students who have shown passion and drive for their chosen discipline through their years of study
- Must have enrolled (or the ability to enrol into) either an Internship or Work Integrated Learning Subject as part of your degree
Application Process
The application questions will including the following:
- University and Degree
- Subject Code for either an Internship or Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Unit
- University Unit Coordinator point of contact details (Name and Email)
- Minimum hours required to complete Internship or WIL Unit
- Internship placement preference, from the following disciplines: IT / Marketing / HR / Finance / Events - Please note: All disciplines are located in Brisbane HQ excepts events which is also offered in Sydney and Melbourne.
