Job Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated individual looking for an exciting chance to join the Global DMC Network as a Finance Analyst. The Global DMC Network is a pillar within The Travel Group (TTG). It is a global business that operates currently in over 14 countries, across multiple currencies, multiple brands and various segments across the travel industry.  TTG is part of the Global Flight Centre Travel Group where we have control over the product we sell via our global sales network and create margin and revenue opportunities through vertical integration and external B2B sales of the in-destination products.

The DMC Network sits in Montvale, NJ.  It is rapidly growing and currently includes Discova Asia and Discova Americas, our in-destination ground operators. They arrange transfers, tours and activities for our customers.

Due to the diverse nature of the business, the Finance Analyst needs to have strong technical skills, including multi-currency reporting. They will be responsible for key business reporting including financial performance and control, strategic analysis, consolidation and tracking business performance. This role incorporates monthly reporting, support for new businesses as well as being involved in key projects and new initiatives that the business undertakes.

  • Consolidate MME, Day 1 and Actual results and post results from all businesses (multi-currency) into SUN
  • Work with CFO's on completion of monthly Head Office Reporting Packs ("HORP") and annual Audit Packs
  • Interpretation and analysis of results to understand key drivers and provide analysis to HQ
  • Consolidation of budget and quarterly forecasting process
  • Communicate deadlines around month-end, budget and forecasting
  • Development and timely completion of the Global DMC Network handbook for business growth and development
  • Adhoc analysis and reporting for key projects and initiatives
  • Coordination of annual audit process - collation of requests and liaising with HQ
  • Ensure compliance and reporting obligation are met
