Flight Centre has an exciting new role, due to a company restructure we have a vacancy for a Commercial Leader.
The role:
As the Commercial Leader, you will partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to commercially support the Marketing and E-Commerce functions of Flight Centre Brand. You will oversee a team of 4 commercial analysts who provide our Marketing leaders with insight into our marketing and online strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic and Operational
- Support Operational Leaders in driving and implementing key strategic initiatives;
- Developing business and online pricing models which support sustainable profitable growth;
- Design management reports effectively capturing the key business indicators;
- Calculate effectiveness of future and past marketing campaigns through ROI analysis;
- Provide commercial support and develop commercial acumen of operational leaders;
- Conduct area business reviews identifying productivity improvement opportunities;
Financial
- Ensure financial integrity of operational results and processes;
- Assist with the preparation of forecasts and budgets for relevant businesses;
- Financial control across all parts of the areas including financial results and balance sheet;
- Ensure financial risk is controlled within your areas
Key Relationships:
- Chief Marketing Officer
- General Managers of Marketing and E-commerce
- Marketing and E-commerce Commercial Analysts and Pricing Analysts
- General Manager Leisure Finance
- Internal businesses (United Finance, Australian Risk, etc
Skills and Experience:
- CPA/CA
- 5 years commercial accounting experience
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing business strategy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical skills with initiative to resolve issues or pursue business opportunities as they are identified
- Strong customer focus
- Knowledge of the Travel business
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure
