Business Development Manager – Oslo
The Business Development Manager (BDM) role exists to grow the volume of trading business in the local Norwegian market.
FCM Travel Solutions is looking for sales driven individuals with excellent commercial acumen. Success in this role is achieved by sourcing, identifying, developing and retaining high yielding business travel accounts. A BDM is responsible for winning and implementing accounts in their local market above all else. The role requires them to be pro-active in finding leads and bringing them on board to trade with us. Proficient English and Norwegian is essential.
This is an unusual and unique opportunity to join FCM as we usually only recruit sales people with significant industry experience. In this particular instance, however, we are looking for the right sales profile and we will then support career progression into more complex selling. We will help develop the successful candidates sales and negotiation skills so in time they will be involved in multi-national bids, supporting our network to win business on a global scale.
This role is based in our office Oslo with some regional travel required for client meetings. Benefits include provision of laptop and smartphone, flexibility in working hours, access to staff travel rates for personal trips and a car allowance if used.
