About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join Flight Centre Business Travel. In this role, you'll apply your relationship building skills and our unique product and service offering for client acquisition. You will be a proactive go-getter that won’t let anything get in the way of your success. Networking is second nature as you believe that in every conversation is a new opportunity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts in existing and new accounts
- Maintaining an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline
- Strategic brainstorming and implementation of new business development initiatives
- Leveraging Flight Centre's branding and professional profile
- Active contribution to our growth strategy and wider business plan
- Delivery of results against set objectives
- To develop new client relationships through identification and establishment of Business Development
- Work with relevant internal departments to ensure growth is profitable and sustainable
- To proactively develop, gain and grow new business through a variety of means ensuring KPI’s are met and including but not limited to sales calls, client visits
- Working with interal business to identify and win sales opportunities
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Recruitment/Sales/BDM or similar experience required
- Previous B2B experience
- Excellent communication to drive high touch customer service
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a customer centric environment and think on your feet
