Job Description:


As a rapidly expanding tech company, StudentUniverse is looking for an energetic, results-driven individual who enjoys the fusion of great technology and strong customer relationships. This is a part time (20-30 hrs/week) six month opportunity with a relatively flexible schedule depending on our workflow between February through July.  


The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced office environment with shifting priorities from day to day.You will be supporting a sales team in a mainly operational role by vetting new client leads, requesting airline group space, building client web applications and assisting with financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate will bring a sales perspective to these tasks to help grow our dedicated client portfolio. You should be comfortable with numbers and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google sheets for handling reconciliations as well as experience with Microsoft Word for drafting client contracts.   If communication, organization, and attention to details are your strengths, this job could be the perfect fit.


What we hope you bring to the table: 


  • A passion for travel

  • 2 years of experience working in a fast paced corporate environment. Travel related business is a plus

  • Professional and thoughtful written and oral communication skills

  • A customer service oriented mentality - a natural relationship builder

  • Comfort with numbers, spreadsheets, basic reconciliations and proofreading and drafting agreements

  • Basic Salesforce experience is desired but not required

  • Sabre skills are preferred but not required
